HOW TO IRON EMBROIDERY

40132_8_ LAURASTAR PULSE ANNIVERSARY - IRON - PLATE

  1. Make sure you are ironing on a thick, cushioned ironing board or surface to assist in absorbing moisture from iron steam.
  2. Place embroidery face down on ironing board surface.  Never iron directly on embroidery.
  3. Use an iron with a protective, soft-press sole plate to reduce the pressure on the embroidered surface.
  4. Use an iron steam setting that is low ~ for delicate or dark fabrics

IRONING v. STEAM CLEANING

What is the difference between ironing and steam cleaning (if any)?

Ironing and steam cleaning differ greatly from each other;

they do not even belong to the same world:

– Ironing is taking care of a clean garment to give it its perfect finish touch

– Steam cleaning is removing dirt from a chosen surface or material.

In cleaning, steam has the power to dissolve greases.

In ironing, the action of steam has the power of removing creases

and gives back a perfect appearance to garments.

In a white clean environment, pressure steam used by professionals in laundries for decades is now available for private customers.  Since Laurastar invented the first ironing system in 1983, they have evolutionized garment care and brought a hi-tech solution to what is considered to be a low-end chore segment.  What a benefit to those who create with fabric….for self, for fashion, for home, for profit.
